My wife and I have been married for almost 11 years. I contracted this from
my ex wife.(whom by the way knew she had this and did not disclose).
Because I am an idiot I didn't realize that this is what it was until my
new girlfriend(now my wife) at the time contracted it. I is a long story.
If you have type II is it possible for that to turn to type I? For instance
by having oral sex. Thanks for being here.

Hey there,

The type never changes--only the location.

Type 1 and type 2 can be found in both oral and genital locations.

If someone has type 1 orally and gives it to someone's genitals through oral
sex, it is still type 1.

No, type-2 doesn't turn into type-1. A person either has type-1, type-2,
both OR nothing at all.

Maybe this link will help:
