About the same odds as having sex with anyone. HPV is very common and most
people have some form of it. Some forms have no visual symptoms, some do.
There's a good chance you already have it. And because there really isn't a
very good test for it, many don't know if they are already infected.

How does that girl know that she got genital warts from her ex-boyfriend?
How does anybody know for sure whom they contracted genital warts from if
they have had more than one sexual partner in their lifetime? (I have always
been curious about that)

Genital warts can be removed but that doesn't mean that the HPV is
completely gone.

That depends on whether or not she still has the HPV virus.
You may even have the virus and not know that you have it since it's not
included in routine std testing.
Have you discussed any of this with a physician?
