Hello everyone,

As you all are probably aware, I have had genital herpes, HPV and oral
herpes for around 11 years. So this should mean that my immunity are
quite high within my own system from auto inoculation.

A week ago the skin on the underside my wrist where the wrist watch
watch covers started itching so I took off my watch. The skin was itchy
and red, then a day later it was sore and pinchy. The following day
there were a cluster of tiny blisters, maybe 10-15 of them and the skin
was moist and oozing and then the next day it was itchy and I could see
the outline of all the popped blisters which were crusty looking. Today
it is just red.

I know its not poison ivy because I wasnt in the woods and it wasnt
that kind of a spread out rash, and it wasnt a mosquito bite, because
of the blister like presence and not ringworm, because that dosent go
away by itself unless you wait about a month. I had to have given
myself herpes on the arm!

I am wondering how on earth did I infect my wrist with herpes??! Could
I have had it there all the time and not known it, and does this mean I
will get these outbreaks on my wrist from now on?

My solution to this is the previous prednisone usuage, being very tired
from over working and maybe a little stressed. Would that have depleted
my immune system enough for this to happen?

This is so weird.

Hi Al,

You need to find out what it is on your arm.  Don't assume it is herpes.

I know, but I am sure I'm not going to die from it, so I'll give it a
week and if it doesnt go away or gets worse, I'll go to the clinic.
