Hi Xray,

We aren't really up to par with EBV.  This group is mainly for herpes
simplex virus.

One thing I can tell you is that over 90% of the population has EBV.  So
what makes them not have symptoms where as you are having a difficult time
with it?  I believe I contracted it in college when I was ill for over a
semester.  No doctor could find anything wrong with me.

My next question to you is if you've been tested for EBV?  How do you know
that is what is causing these symptoms?

It is my opinion that the best thing you can do for yourself is to do
healthy things.  Eat right.  Exercise.  Get plenty of sleep.  Don't drink,
smoke, do drugs.  You want to do whatever you have to do to keep your immune
system healthy.

Good luck.

FYI
half the world is a carrier but not everyone gets an active virus.  fatigue
can last for weeks to 18 months.  exercise is not a good recommendation.
spleen can become swollen or other complications may slow recovery.  there is
no known cause and no known cure.  a person just has to wait it out.  lots of
rest and as little stress as possible.  It is transferred through saliva and
the cause of Mono (the kissing disease) during the active virus do not share
drinks or food transfer.  It is an infectious disease.  B-shots may help
build the metabolism and help with immunities.  diet will have no effect.
Hopefully you are feeling better by now. I just wanted to post something
because the previous comment is very misleading.  Do your research.  There is
all kinds of info and EBV sucks.  Especially the fatigue.  It can be
overwhelming at times.
