Lionel - 09 Oct 2003 01:18 GMT My boyfriend might possibly have exposed me to the herpes virus. Would it be prudent to take pictures for possible insurance reasons? Is there some kind of lotion you can put on it

thanks in advance Lionel
Grant - 09 Oct 2003 01:24 GMT Hi Lionel,
How do you know you might have been exposed to the virus? Have you ever had a herpes test? Has your boyfriend?
No need to take pictures, they won't help you any.
There isn't exactly any lotions. There are antiviral medications that can help to control the virus if you need it. Are you showing symptoms? You will need to see a doctor for a diagnosis.

> Is there some kind of lotion you can put on it Herpes infections are incurable. Typically the virus causes symptoms for a time and then becomes dormant. From time to time it may flare up again. Symptoms can include oral or genital sores, shingles, chicken pox, etc., depending on how the infection occurred and the exact variety of virus contracted.
In any case, none of this has anything to do with digital photography.

You and everyone else in this thread who replied were just trolled by this bogus Lionel or didn't the name "lionelsuckscock@hotmail.com" give you a clue? I'm guessing the real Lionel pissed off this troll.

The only thing I can find odd about the post is that it seems to be in the wrong group.

Pretty well established that Mxmanic, is one of the newsgroups more prevalent trolls (themself).

He's annoying, but we're really quite fond of him in a dysfunctional family kind of way. (Not fond enough that we'd trust him on a new carpet, but you know what I mean.)

Angela - 09 Oct 2003 04:51 GMT Sounds like you don't know for sure if you have herpes or not. I believe testing is in order. For more information on herpes testing you can look here: http://members.cox.net/yoshi2me/Links/Links.htm .
