Shingles blisters & triamcinolone acetonide cream

Does anyone know if triamcinolone acetonide cream can be used on
shingles blisters?

    Generally, use of steroids is a bad idea with any viral infection.

Off the record and anecdotally,  I would say that
triamcinolone acetonide is no good for fungal infections.
It does aleviate psoriasis and of course skin dryness.
It's the VA's  topical  variant to the famous APC
(all purpose capsule) anodyne  for the sick, the lame,
and the lazy.  I have many tubes of triamacinolone and
no use for them other than to curb facial psoriasis.
