I HAVE A CURE FOR ORAL HERPES!!
Ok, Abreva I've only used a few times and it's only good a first symptoms.
Oral Herpes only.
The best thing to have around for symptoms is Acyclovir.  Go to your doctor
and tell him you want the cream, and tell him/her you also want the pills.
At first sign you start putting on the cream and start taking the pills.  20
years of experimenting, believe me this is your only chance of stopping it
dead in the tracks.

Now for the CURE or Prevention. There are  many things that  can cause a
breakout.I have found one sure thing that causes my body to breakout, MSG.
MonoSodium Glutamate found commonly in snacks and chinese food.  In fact, In
the last 4 years I had one cold sore.  I went to a Thai Restaurant, and I
didn't think Thai Restaurants used MSG, the next day I broke out with a sore,
I called the restaurant and asked if they used it in their food and they said
yes.  Beware of any snack that is flavored such as Doritos.  Check every
package.  Believe me, I have been able to avoid these annoying breakouts.  

Since you can't always know if there is MSG because sometimes they just don't
know in some restaurants, they you take the Acyclovir at first sign.  It's
usually a slight headache and fever and then the tingly sensation.

The sun is your other big enemy.  Carry lip balm with 30spf or higher.  Get a
box load
