my terrible lying cheating x gave me herpes.he said it was through a
cold sore on his mouth. you all said cold sores cannot give you herpes
but i don't know. he was an a.s.he knew he had it among other things as
i just found out.

If a person has cold sores or fever blisters then that means they have oral
herpes. So yes - it is possible to pass herpes to your partner's genitals
through oral sex.

I'm way behind on my reading here but if someone made this statement,
they were wrong. Cold sores are caused by HSV 1 and can be
transmitted to a partner's genitals by oral sex.
