Hi Al,
Yes, you can treat oral herpes the same as genital as far as experiencing
symptoms and no sores. I believe you are contagious when you feel the weird
sensations, but I'm not too up on that.

Hi Ar,
So I guess it would be safe to say that alot of people could have oral
herpes and not even get cold sores. I wonder why most of the time I don't
get cold sores, but I see alot of people that do have them.

It falls into the "everyone is different" catagory. :)

If it's more pimple-like then how do you know that it's a coldsore? Have you
ever had a doctor take a look at this "pimple-like" thing and tell you that
it's a cold sore? Have you ever had a doctor or dermatologist run tests to
confirm that what you are experiencing is indeed oral herpes?

If you do have oral herpes then the same rules apply as when you have
genital herpes. You can be contagious before an outbreak, during an outbreak
for sure, after an outbreak, and any time in between when there is no
outbreak and you have asymptomatic shedding going on.

Just like genital herpes... everybody is different. Some people get those
tingling sensations and others do not.

It's certainly possible...

And it may just be different for you all the way around. BUT, I do believe
you need to figure out if what you are experiencing is oral herpes before
you just assume that is what you have.
Good Luck,
Angela

No, because oral herpes is so common since 70% of the population has it and
most of my family has it also, I figured it is probably that.

Well I really don't want to get into alot of tests which may be needless
since this is really nothing to worry about, just wondering about the
sensations.
Al,
I found this website - maybe it will help...
