I can tell you from my own personal way of dealing with the virus,
the research papers tell about the same.

Firstly, Prunella Vulgaris (Self-Heal) will keep herpes' glycoprotein D
and perhaps C
from attaching to cells, secondly Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) in
ethanol solution,  will
not allow herpes receptors to attach to HEp-2 cells,
thus blocking pretty much all of the access to the skin/mucosa cells,
of the herpes viruses.

There will be no asymptomatic shedding, no herpes activity at the
skin/mucosa levels, to
say the least.

At the neuron level, TK and other deeper levels, the immune system will
take care
of the problems.

All you need to do (if having such herpes activity problems) is stretch
your thymus
by pulling your hands together from each other very hard for 5 to 10
seconds at a time,
to release the thymus' tensions and blockages (it works for other
organs as well, such
as spleen through the same method.
