Weird lesion

Hi all,

I've got this really weird lesion again. Its happened a few times in the
past. I was wondering if anyone else gets this type? Its like a patch of
dry, scaly looking reddish skin on the pubic hair area about 2 inches above
the genitals. The patch is about 1 sq. inch in size. The area is a little
lumpy in the middle and if you touch it, the area feels tender and sore.
I've had this as part of an outbreak in that area before, but maybe a couple
of inches over to the right last time. I just had some pimple like things on
the inner thighs where I usually get the outbreak and then this lesion came
along. I'm at the end of it now anyway. Okay well there's a piece of
chocolate cake that's calling me, so I have to run!

Thanks,
Al

Sounds like a job for a culture type test. Might be something
unrelated to herp. A culture could tell you no matter what it is. (or
the doc might be able to make a visual diagnosis)

Well I know its a recurring lesion just as the ones I get on the inner
thighs are, so I assume its probably herp since its tender and sometimes
itchy also. Just wondering if you got that before?
