howmany days after infection does hsv1 symptoms start

How many days after hsv1 infection do you get symptoms? can symptom start a
few hrs after infection? as in a tingling sensation in the affected area but
no cold sore? or does the symptoms only start after a few days?

The quickest I've ever heard of is 2-3 days. Symptoms within a few
hours probably indicates a previous infection.

3 days to a couple of weeks is common. On the other hand, several
months to a year isn't uncommon. And don't forget, most people with an
infection never know they're infected because they NEVER have a
symptom or their symptoms are so mild they don't notice them.

Hi Nospam ~

Not everybody with hsv1 is going to get symptoms right away.

Symptoms don't typically begin a few hours after contracting the virus.

If there are symptoms it usually takes anywhere from a few days to a couple
of weeks.

Generally symptoms will show up 3 weeks to a couple of months. Althogh
symptoms may not show up for years. You can find more information on
