Hi,
I am 21 and just found out this girl likes me, alot.
Anyway, she had random sex TWO days ago, and the guy only put a condom
on half way into intercourse. He was 27....she is 21 and was drunk.
She has no idea of his history.

Anyway....if I were to even kiss her tomorrow....could I get herpes if
the dude had herpes (she did oral on him too)?

I mean would the virus have even taken hold to be transmitted to me?
She regrets it, and wants to get tested...but we have been friends a
long time and really want to start kissing atleast!

The answers aren't that simple, unfortunately.

First of all, have you ever had a herpes test? You may already have oral herpes
and not know it. Heck, you may have genital herpes and not know it. So, it
would be a good idea to have yourself checked out first. There are blood tests
just for herpes testing that can be done.

Your wanna-be girlfriend can also already have herpes. When was the last time
she was tested?

Remember, you don't have to have symptoms to have herpes.

That would depend on what type of herpes he had--assuming he even had it. If he
had type 2, then the likely of you getting herpes because she performed oral
would be rather slim. However, if he had type 1, then it is possible that you
could get it.

Yes, the virus could have gotten hold. But if you're so worried about this one
guy, then I suggest you both get yourselves tested because if either of you have
ever kissed another person or had sex before, you might already have herpes.
