First let me say how scared I am.  My husband died in '89 waiting on a
liver transplant.  There wasn't treatment of any kind then.  I just know
that my liver enzymes were high when I had routine blood work not long
ago.  I have had a lot more blood work since then and am getting ready
for an EDG (not looking forward to that) and a liver scan.  No mention
of a liver biopsy just yet.  Was told I needed to be started on
anti-depressants before treatment starts.  All I know is the treatment
includes shots that I will be taking at home.  I know what this can
(liver disease) do if untreated first-hand and it is terrible.  I need
to know what to expect from treatment from those who have already been
through it or going through it.  Sorry this is so long.  Thank you.

This is a 'science' group here, Robin.  You should post your questions
over in ash-c, our 'sister' group.  You'll get more responses over
there.
