Herbs and supplements for hepatitis C with notes.

A strong immune system can keep the hepatitis virus in long-term remission

Remission? Hep c is not cancer. Hep c does not go "into remission."
Herbs/supplements might reduce your symptoms temporarily and even make your
liver function tests look better, but hep c will continue to destroy your
liver cells, every day, by the billion.

Actually, I have heard medical doctors (specialists in treatment of
Hepatitis C) talk about remission of Hepatitis C. Remission occurs when
the virus is no longer detectable with the tests used to diagnose it. I
don't know if herbs can kill the virus or not, but they can certainly
be supportive of the liver and assist with feeling better while coping
with the disease - how do I know? Personal experience.

I don't care if it the term remission is correct or not... if my
choices are feeling horrible while the disease kills my liver, or
feeling good while it kills my liver, I'll take the latter any day.
Besides, I could get run over by a bus long before my liver failed
anyhow so worrying about the future, at the expense of my present
health is absolutely ridiculous.
