Hey Thip,
hope the surgery went well and you are soon on your way to good
recovery.
Best Wishes.

Thanks, Joe,  I came home yesterday and am totally pumped full of pain meds
so typing is dificult at the moment.  The only real drawback so far is that
I can't figure out how to carry a cup of coffee and use the walker at the
same time.  :-)

That walker didn't come equipped with cup holders?! ;-)

Glad to read you're home, Thipper!

Cheers!

Great news you are home, Thip! :)

I never used the walker, only crutches, and only one after a week of
so anyway, so my coffee was not a BIG problem. (only a problem when I
dont' HAVE it haha! ) Don't you have one of those plastic "travel
mugs" with a handle and a lid??? What kind of coffee drinker ARE you??

Mine came in handy, I could fill the cup half way, put on the lid and
haul it around with me by hooking a finger in the handle. Works for
all drinks..

If you are a cream, sugar person, you could put some of those little
individual creamer thingies in a bowl on the table that don't need to
be refridgerated, like we have at work. Yeah NON dairy stuff, haha!

Improvise, Thip, Improvise! Thinking of you and wishing you quick,
happy healing... still think you're going back to work next week? -:)

Congratulations, Thipper, I'm glad to hear you're through the worst. Before
you know it, you'll have turfed the walker and will be able to run with two
cups of coffee :-)
