I can't see my reflection in the waters,
I can't speak the sounds that show no pain,
I can't hear the echo of my footsteps,
Or...remember the sound of my own name...
--Bob--

A friend gave me a bracelet yesterday, and wrote me a very sweet note,
telling me that if my liver had arms, he would wear this, but he
doesn't, so I should wear this on his behalf until treatment is over
and both of us are restored to robust, strutting health.

I told my friend I would, of course.

Thank Gawd for good friends. Those who get it and know what words to
say and things to do...they are rare and precious indeed.

And to those doctors who write online articles, claiming either that
treatment is not that difficult, or that it gets easier over time...

I POOP ON YOU!

You remind me of that feeling during treatment that reached a point
of

"I'd have a conversation with you but I can't remember the words...."

Hang in there!!!! It's not forever. The words will return, just like
riding a bike. :)
