A week or so ago, someone posted here that they had a pancreatic cyst.
I too have one and was wondering if they suspected Hep C had anything
to do with its development and I would like some more insight on what
the doctors said to that person.

Hi Mark, that would have been me. The CAT scan I had recently to
verify that it was "nothing to be concerned about" returned as:

" a small fat density within the head of the pancreas measuring 5mm. A
small lipoma (benign tumor consisting of fat tissue.) is favored. No
other masses eithe solid or cystic are identified withint the pancreas
at  this time."

My BLCD has always said that this is often a result of an attack of
acute pancreatitis, and questioned me of any recollections of having
had severe abdominal pain. He also mentioned that it is commonly seem
with prolonged over use of alchohol.

Not very helpful for your circumstances I don't think. But that is
what I can share with you. Hope all is well. :)
