haha! That's what I feel like anyway.
Had an abdominal CAT Scan this past week in followup to pancreatic
cyst, hepper Tx etc. Two years post tx and virus free. My BLCD just
wanted to follow up on past ultrasounds showing a pancreatic cyst and
continued "discomfort' in the upper right abdominal area right under
the ribs...
1 - Scans thru the lung bases show no consolidtaion or pleural
effustions
2 - There are no focal lesions of the liver or spleen
3 - There are no adrenal lesions
4 - Gallbaldder is contracted with no obvious stones
5 - There is a small fat density withing the head of the pancreas
measuring 5 mm. A small dipoma is favored. This does not appear to
relate to sonographic finding described in the report of 6/08 - NO
other masses either solid or cystic or otherwise are identifed withing
the pancreas at this time.
6 - There are no enlarged retroperitoneal lymph nodes.
7 - There are atherosclerotic changes to the abdominal aorta.
Impression: Five mm hypodense lesion within the head of the pancreas
possibly a small lipoma, doubt clinical significance. Previously
questioned small cyst at the junction of body and head of the pancreas
seen on prioir ultrasound not identified on current CT study.
No kidney problems
No throid problems
etc etc.
Jeez for as tough as it was getting thru tx, seems like it has all
turned out well in the long run!
All in all things sound pretty good, for someone who three years ago
was diagnosed with hep c and after biopsy rated stage 3, level 3.
Guess its another Grateful Thanksgiving this year, my two year post tx
anniversary! :)
