I was looking for a group more suited to platelet problems, but I
didn't find one. Maybe someone can steer me to one.
Anyway.......I treated for HepC, and was told I was clear back in Nov
2005, and am still clear as of last test about 4 months ago. Right
after treatment, I developed drug induced lupus from the Pegasus. My
platelet count dropped to 5K which is critical. Normal is about
150-300k. They gave me some "mild" chemo and "cured" my lupus. My
platelet count has been around 80-120k since then, and was 90k a month
ago.
I have felt fatigued since my treatment. I have complained to the
doctor and was given a thyroid test, a test for iron and a few more I
can't think of right now, but all were fine.
I was just reading that low platelets can make you feel tired and
fatigued. This has never brought up with the doctor, and I will next
time I go in about 2 months, but has anyone else experienced fatigue
from low platelet count?

What are your hematocrit & hemoglobin? While low platelets may cause
fatigue, this is, I believe, more likely to be due to anemia caused by
excessive bleeding---or by concurrent anemia which may be unrelated...
Both can be treated with medication, of course...
