Has anyone had Lichen Planes? If so what did your Doc do for it? I have it
and it is driving me crazy. Sometimes it clears for a few weeks. But it
always returns. Sometimes it involves my genital organ.

Brian,
What kind of meds are you currently taking?  See all below.

Cactus,
I'm taking Nexium,Promethazine,Reglan,Seroquel and Ambien CR . I've been
taking these meds for some time. I had some degree of the dermatological
problems before any of these meds were introduced. My Hep Doc is pretty sure
it is HCV related Lichen Planus. And maybe mixed Cryoglobulemia for good
measure. Although he has never tested me for either. I see my Gastro doc
next week. I do plan to ask him to run the cryo tests. Maybe that would
explain the neuropathy in my feet. That's another symptom that is driving me
mad. I've been tested for diabetes. Negative as I suspected. My blood sugar
and lipids are checked often due to the Seroquel.

Thanks ,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Whoa, you take lots of different meds!  Other than Ambien, I have no idea
what they are or how they might interact with all your other health factors.
Your doctor is doing well on this, it appears.  The only tool I have is
google, and it draws in anything on the web that has the keywords I use for
the search.  The first one is from the Indian Journal of Dermatology,
Venereology and Leprology.  The search parameter keywords I used were
<Hepatitis C Lichen Planus>  I shortend the url with TinyUrl:
http://tinyurl.com/6jefgx  and this one, from medicine net:
http://www.medicinenet.com/hepatitis_c/page4.htm

glad to be of help
