Hi,
It's been 9 months since I stopped treatment. I am finally myself
again, well not really, I'm a new grandmother!
It's been a long and hard road for me, harder then when I was on
treatment. and I think it's been about 3 weeks since I kicked all the
sides away.
I haven't been around because of how hard it's been for me, but after
all the neuro problems finally subsided I can finally see the light.
This was my second time around.
I was on treatment 77 weeks, first daily Infergen,Ribavirin and
Amantadine and then when I obtained 0 vl I switched back  to
Pegasys,Ribavirin and the Amantadine added procrit very shortly after
the Pegasys.
I feel reborn, it's life changing when after all that time on the
couch I go in the car and everything is changed. Another time I will
tell of my road back after treatments but ya know being a mum mum to
little Bobby is keeping me very busy.
Everything about me now is a blessing, I had more time to examine my
faults and ways to change and life is so very good.
I believe God did this, He gave my NP Donna Fannelli, the patience to
deal with all the unknowns and the effects that long term treatment
can cause.

So, I will check in from time to see if I can help others or anyone
can email me.  Being a beginer at taking photos I opened a flicker
accountand I make changes as I mature in this area and it also keeps
me busy.
My flicker addy is http://www.flickr.com/photos/eyes_eye/
Be kind, I'm only just learning. I really need a photo program.

Still Hep free, the freshly heated cookie,
eileen

Eileen, so good to hear things are finally going your way. I haven't
checked out your pictures yet, but I will. Not sure if this is the right
way to say it, but proud of you for making it through hell and back.
Hope your life just keeps getting better.

Thanks Dwight, Always a  true friend, I'm so popular it's been over a
week since I posted and only you and Sara replied. Not a member of the
clique, I'm so sad. snork

What clique, Eileen? There's no clique here and never has been that I can
remember.
Everyone comes here to a level playing field and is treated with respect
unless/until they choose to start a pissing match.

Happy to hear about your good news :-)

Thanks Sara, my other true friend, pretty stuffy here, even the
cookies have run off.
The pictures are mediocre but thanks anyway.
Take Care, see my answer to Dwight!

Hi Eileen
So glad to hear that you are more close to normal than you have been for
quite a long time.  I have yet to enjoy that knowledge for my own self, but
it will come, I guess.  I don't spend much time on here.  No reason other
than distraction that I have not acknowledged your hello until now.

be as well as you can,

Hi eileen,
Congrats on getting back to normal, slaying the dragon and being a
granny.

I believe God did this, He gave my NP Donna Fannelli, the patience to
deal with all the unknowns and the effects that long term treatment
can cause.

I'm not sure if God did this but i am sure that Donna Fanelli is the
most caring doctor in the world. Also she happens to have tons of
experience with infecous viruses. john

I hope you decide to give all credit to Donna Fannelli, and maybe a bit to
Elmo for getting you together with her.
If you credit God for any of this, then you have to credit him for giving
you hepatitis C in the first place, then it all goes weird.
Theological question: If God created all life, and he loves all his
creatures great and small, does he love HCV as much as he loves us?

Well John, it is to each his own.  It's never been a secret that I do
believe in God and that I do depend on Him.
I don't ask anyone to believe and it's one of the things that disturbs
many here.
I guess because people are so uncomfortable at the mere mention of His
name I become a target.
I think it would make me feel very small to comment and make another
person feel unwanted.
Who's next, oh yeah Waterspider is next , I think I'll skip it and
then Cody and then someone else.
I won't bother coming back here.

Eileen, you aren't a target and please don't take it personally.
You believe in God; I don't. We are both entitled to express our beliefs,
and neither of us should take it personally if someone doesn't agree.
You are not a better person than me because you believe; I am not better
because I don't.
Peace,
Waterspider

Well hello Spiderspit and Codyrrhoid  you wretched pseudointellectua
blackhearts.  It's me Koko!  Your favorite primate troll.   Yet again
despite countless polite (and sometimes not) protests from amongst the n
ranks,  you crudely demonstrate what disgraceful exceptions  you
are to this diverse, compassionate and  tolerant community.   What sorr
lumps of animal intellect you posess.  I wonder have the two of you alway
been troubled with such rigid intolerance of belief systems not your own
or is your relentless hatred of Christian comfort a lingering  patholog
from too much bohemian cultural and chemical trash or even one too man
milligrams of interferon?

I am not a religious person so I  feel no obligation to abide by th
constraints of religious good will and am inclined to speak plainly.  Yo
make me puke.  Year after year you have both proven consistently worthles
within any reasonable scope of the meaning of  "support."  I hereby cla
with one hand, fart in your face and wipe my butt  with your poo
journalism.  Ha ha ha.  Shame on  you for using this forum as a persona
outlet for intolerant attacks on suffering souls who choose to offer eac
other prayerful Christian thought. Ever wonder why this group continues t
dwindle and so many genuinely supportive people (from numerous faiths o
none) have preferred to simply bailed out?   Some have offered protests t
your innappropriate attacks and and others check out with no explanation.

kj
spitting back in your face since ‘04
rant all you want pathogenic symbiotic fan club of two

P.S. Eileen and John, please excuse my abrupt language -  allow me t
express my admiration and respect for your profound courage.  Eileen know
me well enough ;-)  but John might be baffled :-) Hey stick aroun Reenie.

Had the operation in 06. No Rhoids anymore :-)

You really need to get over yourself. Neither Waterspider nor I believe
that people can't believe whatever they want to believe. This also means
we can disagree.

Personally, I think this group would be better off if we just leave
religion, politics and sex out of the discussion.
