Yo, thanks Dwight!
I'm retireing June 1st, go fishing, camping do all the stuff in Alaska I
never had time to in the summer.
Health ok, but lots of fatigue. Working 7 days a week is too much anymore, I
don't want to kill my self over a job.
For those not in the know,
age 53, dx'd about 2002, did the treatment 7-2005, 48 weeks of pegasys and
riba, viral free at 12 weeks, relapsed after treatment. Nothing radical
happening to me but not so energetic.
Yea, I'm still picking man, mostly on the 'jo.....

Good to hear from you Russ. Sounds like a good use for retirement. My
wife was offered two jobs while we were up there last Summer, we'd have
to work two jobs apiece to make it though. :) Take care and keep in touch.

Good to hear from you, happy birthday and congrats on the retirement. Keep
on picking, it's great stuff! I'll always have a great memory of your music
when you visited Pender Harbour.
All the best,

I'll look forward to it-- presuming of course you bring your banjo!
Just kidding, Russ. You're always welcome in Pender Harbour.

Congrats, Russ. A final decision? Moving to the badlands this fall?
My tie dye is becoming more interesting, doing music festivals this summer,
going to Spain for a couple of weeks this September. Maybe call Cody?
Still not scheduled for retreatment, no apparent Hep symptoms...

Yo Bob, yea I am worn out on Alaskan winters. I really don't care if I ever
spend another one here. 30 years is enough, and the couple of winters I
spent in Arizona spoiled me!!
Spain sounds great. I look forward to traveling myself. With the checks
coming in, I can go wander the earth for a few months at a time! Wow, that
sounds great...
Glad your feeling well!

Happy Birthday Russ!!
I've been thinking of you recently, Honestly while watching "Tougher
in Alaska" on Demand. It got me wondering also if Geo Beach is our
"Beach"
He used to post here a few years back. Do you remember? Have you seen
the show?
Anyhow, Gold seems to be big again in Alaska. Have you started looking
on Tanners Acre?
I finished treatment and got my 6 month PCR and it's 0 but it's slow
recovery for me, I'm so tired and my mind is still missing but I'm
coming along.
Glad to hear you're going to be having a nice retirement, if you're
ever in Jersey, you're welcome to come visiting.

Eileen, that is great for your svr, just great!
Looking for gold was a topic of discussion at work today. It's a hobby I
want to get into, if not in Alaska then Arizona in winter.
At a grand an ounce, why not look for some? I had fun with my brother
running around the hills east of Wickenburg, Arizona a couple of winters
ago. Jim had a metal detector, I carried the shovel and plastic pan. No gold
but lots of bullets, a nail, half a frying pan, various strange artifacts.
joisey eh??? I'll be traveling around and will tuck the invite away for safe
keeping. Thanks.

Gold? If you're in Dawson City, see my friends Malcolm and Jane at Sourdough
Joe's Restaurant-- they'll point you in the right direction (Malcolm's mom,
at 89, is still an avid goldpanner).

Hey Russ! Happy Birthday bud. Kinda late, but I don't check in ashc like I
used to.
Glad to hear you are doing well is spite of the tx woes.
Enjoy your retirement.

Thanks Thom. I don't drop in here as much either.
One of these days I hope for a kinder treatment and another try at this
dragon slaying business!! Just no way I'll do the current treatments again.
