I'm 6 days past 48 weeks.

Starting to feel a bit better, maybe...

Began a slow withdrawal schedule from the Citalopram (Anti-D) that
will take 12 weeks and I'm fairly hip to possible probs there.

So, is there such a thing as withdrawal symptoms from Peg Intron,
Ribavirin, and Epogen ?!?

Hey Alex,
Congratulations for staying in the saddle.  The questions you raise
are interesting inasmuch as I don't think any doctor could answer them.
You've suffered anemia so rather than being too concerned about
withdrawl from the treatment drugs, you could be doing things like
taking short walks to limber up and open up your head to the wide
world around us once again.  Also, watch your diet and eat balanced
meals because some of your muscles may have atrophied during the
last eleven months.
From my experience, I suffered a type of temporary arthritis in my
finger joints, but from what I can recall, it did not take effect until
a few months after the end of treatment.  Others have said that the
brain fog persists in varying degrees, and I am sure
now that I think of it that I too, experienced that for a while.
My biggest problem post-tx was being around people and finding
mundane things to talk about after being shut away for so long.  I think
you'll find you are a far more compassionate person with a lot of
patience for people and things that you may have never had before.

It gets better, so you will you

Thanks, CJ, for your perceptive response.

I've been on a nutrient-dense whole food-based supplement for almost a
month and in a week or two I'll slowly get back into basketball.

Compassion?

Oooooh, yeah !!!!!!

This is smart of you. Did you take this solely for tx, and if so, did
you have enough time on tx before you went on Citalopram to describe
how it helped you, if it helped you?

Actually, there is a withdrawal symptom from EPO--anemia! In your
case, however, ditching the other crap ought to more than
compensate...
