Hello All.

I have read on here something about "Riba Rage".

I think I am a card member.(LOL)
I tend to be pretty mild manner....Lately I think I can rip someone's
head off. They really don't need to be doing any thing-Breathing is
enough.
If I don't like their tone  I feel the death ray start up in my belly!
I start to say things to friends or family and as the words start to
fall out of my mouth -my brain is asking" are you retarded?"I can be
watching something on T.V. and start balling.
So I guess what I am wondering is it the "Rage"or just all in my
head??
Thanks

sounds like "riba rage" to me :)  time to ask the doc for some
anti depressants, or maybe up your dosage, or try a different one
if you are already taking them.  Xanax helped me too.

It's great that you can recognize what's happening, are you able
to control it at all or do you just let it rip anyway?  (I had a
hard time controlling it.. I'd just blast whoever was getting on
my nerves, and then feel guilty afterwards.)

Yep, it's Riba Rage :-)

Might be an idea to warn friends/family about this charming little side
effect so they don't take it personally.

If you're not already doing so, take antidepressants. If you're finding that
the rages/depressions become serious, ask for a prescription change.
Everyone responds differently to antidepressants and sometimes a change to a
different type works wonders.

Smoking pot helped me tremendously, both with the nausea and the Riba Rage,
but that advice isn't terribly popular with our current round of
dragonslayers here on ash-c.

Whatever the opinion might be, I don't think I would have made it through my
48 weeks without the assistance of MaryJane.

Boy, ain't that the truth.

I have no doubt therapy would have been *way* harder on me (and everyone
around me) if not for indulging in herbal refreshment - frequent and often.
Therapy beat me physically, for sure, but I truly believe the weed not only
helped me stay fully compliant to the drug regimen, it kept me sane and out of
jail.

A couple of years ago someone posted a link to a study that *clearly* showed
higher success rates in herbally-enhanced cohorts. Not that I needed the
confirmation, but I nodded my head and said to myself: "Yup. True. True."

Doctor Grey sez: "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em. And if ya don't got 'em, get 'em."

:-)

Cheers - to all viral warriors!

The current round of dragonslayer might not be so comfortable speaking
freely on usenet about their smoking habits while others just don't
have a reason to hide it.
This is a good article:

MJ is one of the best ways to combat the nausea, and I agree on the
Riba Rage disappearing if I was where it was at the time!

having Riba Rage... it really pisses me off!!!!!!!(#&()$&#$@#"
