Hi all,

Just wanted to drop in on my old support group and let you wonderful
people know that I am doing quite well. A special hello to Cactus
Jammies, Greyhackles and Water Spider. You guys were always there when
I needed you when I was on the TX and in retrospect I really don't
think I would have made it through the 48 weeks without your
knowledge, empathy, support, understanding and compassion.

1B 3 months post treatment and the mutha is still ( I love this word )
undetectable.
Feeling great, have almost all my energy back and will quite possibly
be getting a new home.
I will find out this week.

To all the newbies, I would like to wish you all the best of luck.
Drink plenty of fluids, lock your firearms up if you have any and try
not to get upset over little things. Don't plan on having much energy
to do anything, take it easy, it's rough ride, quite
possibly the roughest ride you will ever take but in the end if you
are fortunate enough to be a responder as I am still hoping I am/was
it's worth it.

If you are thinking about alternative therapy I wish you luck but I
can tell you first hand
it was a waste of time for me, I stalled 4 years 'till finally doing
the Interferon/Ribavirin
and it didn't do anything for me. Hopefully I didn't stall too long
and I have killed the Dragon.
That remains to be seen because I am only 3 months post treatment but
I am very hopeful.

God bless you all and good luck.

PS: Spidey, I think you should post your before and after pics, did a
lot for me when I was
6 months in to treatment :-)
PPS: Elmo, I'll never forget your sense of humor, I hope you are still
with us.
PPPS: Greyhackles, I did the "big gusto" no little gustos here :-)
PPPPS: Cactus Jammies, hope you are doing well.

Laterzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,

G

Hi Guy,
It sounds like you are well on your way to an SVR.  Best of luck with it,
and with your new home.

cheers

That's great news, Guy!

Thanks for posting, you may encourage potential fence-sitters to give therapy
a try.

Cheers - and continued wishes for continued success :-)
