Hello to All and Welcome to the New Members!

I had an early PCR again because recovery is slow for me, but NP &
doctors say I was on treatment a long time and I need to give myself
almost half as long to recover.
Let's see half of 77 weeks is 9 months, I think.
My bones ache and my Peripheral neuropathy is giving me more pain. I
still sleep too much, can't finish a thing and I'm talking to the
birds..

But on the sunnier side of the street--Ta Da---
I'm gonna be a first time grandma in July and I sure want to be with
it to hold my grandson.
I'm looking to downsize our home and we're on the hunt, and trying to
get ours on the market. We're hoping to sell it. I never thought Id'
leave it alive but I realized after treatment I would like to live on
one floor and do away with the pool. Wish me luck!

Anyhow, I'm still lurking when I can and will try to add something if
I can and I'd be happy to tell about my treatment.  My NP was the
best.

yay Eileen :)

FWIW, I think you are doing better than you think you are, just
from reading your post.  I remember some of the ones you wrote
while on tx :)

Spring is coming, and you'll feel like a new person when it
finally gets here -- I am soooo ready for spring!

big hugs atcha

Thank You Sara!  I feel some days are better thant others and will be
retested in June for both the PCR and the Cognitive/Memory problems.
The aches and pains haven't budged yet though maybe because I already
have periperal neuropathy but there is quite a difference in the
aches
and the burning pain of neuropathy.
Bittersweet is what spring is to me.  The work of cleaning up my
gardens after a year or so of neglect is going to be more work than
normal and then to sell it off will be hard but the garden of the home
I have my eye on has been lovingly cared for just waiting for me.
oooooooooooh I hope to get it before someone else outbids me.
You sound wonerful, are you ready to ride soon?

Always ready to ride :)  Weather's not cooperating yet tho :(
should be able to start getting some short rides in pretty soon,
but usually doesn't really get nice around here til april/may.

big bridge tournament going on in the motor city this week
(started March 6, ending March 16).  we've been downtown every
day except monday and I'm having a blast.  2 friends staying with
us, one from the Seattle area, and one from New Orleans.  Another
good friend from Calgary staying at the playing site (the
Marriott in the Renaissance Center) and have run into at least
1/2 dozen other players I know from playing online bridge.

Feeling pretty good, amazed that I've been able to keep up and
play two sessions (at 3 1/2 hours each!) a day...  I could not
have done this any time in the 5 years preceeding TX.  I guess my
stamina is improving, eh

anyway, stamina or not, it's 1:30 am, and I've been up and
running since 8am.  Kinda wiped out here, so I am OFF TO BED!

big hugs, and keep feeling better every day

Keep up the good work Eileen. I haven't even considered doing another
round of tx lately. I feel better than I have in years. We've already
got our house on the market, but I'm up sizing. I should have my head
examined for doing this at my age. :) They've already finished building
our new house and we hope we have a buyer for our present house, should
know in the next few days. We've been in this house for nearly 20 years
and watched two of our kids grow up here, seems strange to think we may
be moving. Good luck on the SVR and the house hunting and selling. It's
a good time to shop for homes, bad time to be selling though.

Hi Dwight,  I hope it keeps going that way.   I sure am happy to hear
how well you feel, you've had some bad times and you deserve feeling
good.
I know what you're talking about with watching the kids grow up in the
house and now leaving it. Both my children have homes of their own now
but
they've been asking why, what will the grandkids do for a swimming
pool and the extra bedrooms for sleepovers................. HA HA   I
want one floor, one bath, one master bedroom, my craft room and Bobs
garage, a basement for hiding stuff and a full attic with possibilites
for a game room.  That's it beside the garden and a place to hide the
boat in the winter.  The fishing season is almost starting here and
during treatment I was landlocked, interferon or ribaviron just wasn't
good on the ocean for me.  We did trade up for an ocean fishing boat
and sold the ski boat to young people who could enjoy it better, it
wasn't really good for fishing either but it served us well on the
river.  I've come to enjoy flounder, cod and strippers every few days
for dinner.
Good luck to you also in the selling of your home.  Keep in touch, You
and the cookies were my lifesaver's. :)

Thanks John,  I wrote you a note a few minutes ago, before Michaels
and now it's missing, must have forgot to send it??
Glad to hear you're almost done. We are going to take Donna fishing
this summer, she's mentioned how much she likes fresh flounder,
and how she likes to fish but has only been out on head boats, if
your feeling up to it maybe you could come too.  We leave out of the
Shark River by Bellmawr.
Keep up the good work..
