I want to thank everyone for all your support.
You all know first hand how difficult the treatment can be.

I am gen 1b, starting PCR 350K, 6 months undectectable.
Just got results from final 48 week PCR and still undetectable.
I am in remission and hopefully have slain the dragon.
Scheduled for a liver panel in 3 months and then one every year
at my annual.

One month off meds now and feel 300% better.

Again, I cannot thank everyone enough.

Peace be with you all :-)

YOU ROCK, Guy! Can you believe that it is "over" compared to the
feeling that it would go on forever while you were going through
it...? One Day at a Time gets you there. All the best wishes for SVR
and continued virus free status!

Hey Guy,
It feels like you're growing a whole new body, doesn't it?
Congratulations and best wishes for the future,  I would save that bottle of
exotic tequila for a while, if I was you!  :)

cheers with a glass of gatorade or cup of licorice tea!

Great news, Guy!
Hopefully, the dragon has "left the building" for good! :-)
Give us a shout when you get your 3month post-tx results, we'll all be hoping
you get the SVR!

Cheers

UVC Blood irradiation works. For the first time a system has been
developed according to strict FDA approval requirements. They were
used in FDA approved clinical trials. Check out the film clip
interview on www.cw11.com. Good results for HCV, influenza and HIV
primate studies. More human trials are on the way.

Not only a load of BS. Even if such a procedure had FDA approval (it doesn't)
how exactly would irradiating blood root out infected hepatocytes?

It looks like someone trying to generate some page views.
Don't waste your time, folks...

Cheers

Nope - not gonna open any links provided by you - or any other spamming
nitwit. Wouldn't be prudent.

UV radiation of blood has been shown to cause mutations, which is only one
reason why it would never be FDA approved for use on human patients.

Mutated HCV virus - just think about *that* for a millisecond....

Well after reading these posts I'll stop back in and say hi. Got cured and
thought everything was going to be OK, then the wife filed for divorce. So
going through that... wonder which is tougher. But kid is with me, and I
know your good thoughts helped me get through one hell of a tuff time. For
that I love you all. Wish you the best, Yes, I still lurk here. (-:
