I have a question for those of you that have finished TX.
I am taking shot # 47 of 48 Friday with one left.
I know it differs with each individual and would appreciate
just a ball park figure. In anticipation of the long awaited
end of the TX could you possibly tell me what I can expect in general.
I know it builds up in your system and I know it differs per
individual
but if you could just give me a general idea of how long it will
take until the side effects wear off it would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen some posts where certain people have stated they actually
feel worse after getting off the TX.It has been a long tough road for
me
and anything I can look forward to will be a great help.
You guys have been great, there was a time I just didn't think I could
take anymore and you all helped me pull through.
BTW, Spidey, the post "Life after tx" was very encouraging and
greatly
appreciated.

Humbly Yours,

Guy

It takes a while to get your strength and stamina back, but I
think you'll find you start feeling a little better right away,
and just keep getting progressively stronger and more like
'yourself', whatever that is, as time goes by :)

Only thing I'm disappointed about is that I'm not feeling all
energetic and able to conquer the world yet.... but then again,
I'm not 30 anymore.  Gotta keep reminding myself that I am 54,
and it's gonna take some extra work to get that extra energy now
:)

Congrats on completing TX -- and we are all hoping you achieve
SVR!

Well I don't think you'll be missing those weekly shots all that much.
I think you'll probably notice improvement  in weeks which will
contine to get better.   I can't guarantee anything but I think most
people do.  I imagine with the tough time you've had you'll be
noticing a big improvement.  Great job getting this far.  I hope it
pays off in a big way.

I started a feeling little better right away.  Be careful of overdoing
it that first weekend and week with no shot.

After about 3 weeks, when I came home from work tired, it was a normal
tired, not a total exhaustion wipe-out feeling.

I started back to the gym, but kept it very very very easy - it's
amazing how out of shape I was (still am...<g>)...

The funny thing is, I don't feel "different" - I just feel normal.  I
don't keep thinking, "gee I feel better", it's just that there's a lack
of feeling bad.  Don't miss it either...

Beautiful words "Right Away". I like that, "lack of feeling bad" is a
nice way to describe it. 3 weeks is awesome. I am so looking forward to
it ............. thanks :-)
