Dear Fellow Travelers:
I, for one am gagging on this MI5 crapola. Below is my recent email to ATT
regarding the harassment:
alt.hepatitis-c is a support group for persons with hepatitis C (HCV).
Recently, numerous messages have been posted regarding the poster's
ostensible belief that the MI5 in Great Briton is after him. It would be
laughable except for the fact the members of the newsgroup have a deadly
disease for which a cure is no sure thing. Truly life and death. And this
joker is spewing drivel and interrupting the business of the newsgroup. One
email address of the harasser is m07102409060168@4ax.com. If you review the
recent postings to alt.hepatitis-c, you can see for yourself why this
constitutes harassment. Can you block this person from the newsgroup?
Sincerely,
Suds
Their replay should be interesting although I wouldn't hold the breath.

Good luck, AT&T has little to nothing to do with this. This poster is
cross posting to dozens of unrelated groups. The best thing you can do
is filter him out as I and many others have done. The only way I see
his post or any reaction to them is when someone replies to them.

I believe his name is Mike C.. He has a mental illness which he
acknowledges.
I don't see his posts because I filter them out. Although he changes
email addresses, you can filter the posts out on the contents of the
subject line.
I use the following character string (without the quotes)
"M'I-5"
Make your newsreader delete (or mark as read) any emails with that
character string in the subject line and you need never see any of his
posts again.
