Let me start with the heart-felt wish that this "MI5" a__-hole gets
the f__k out of here...

Now...

I'm 6/11ths through treatment and I wonder if it's mostly my emotional
meltdown before treatment or some aspect of Tx that others feel:

I feel like I'm going through a rebirth process and I'm not positive
who I'll "be" when this is over...

Alex,
Yes you are being reborn.  A very positive way of looking at your
progress.  Careful that you don't get carried away with your manifestation
of your new you.  If you have any questions about your state of mind, you
should consult with your psych doctor if you have one.  It's not uncommon
for the effects of Interferon to humble the patient.  Not uncommon at all.
Cancer survivors as well as combo tx patients have similar ideas.  Use your
message filter to put MI5 out of the foreground.  It worked for me.

Be at peace while you ride the dragon to its doom

Thanks, Guy & CJ !

I have a fairly introverted, sensitive, and intuitional character and
it can feel, sometimes,  like I'm in an Interferon-black-hole of
humility on top of a RibaCrap killing-field...

Having folk to communicate with that don't say "Hope ya feel better
soon." but, instead, encourage me in this very real battle, is
encouraging...

I can relate to that, "it can feel, sometimes,  like I'm in an
Interferon-black-hole of
humility on top of a RibaCrap killing-field..."

BTW, I just wrapped up week 44 of a 48 week stint so not sure what you
mean by
6/11ths.
Guessing you are not a genotype 1

Actually, it is very likely he *is* g1.
48 weeks is eleven months...he's saying he's through 6 months...

Cheers

I went to look into blocking MI5, clicked on their profile, and found
this message:

Don't worry, you'll be you.
But, you may be a you without hepatitis c, and you will definitely be a you
with a new outlook on life and a new knowledge of inner strength that you
didn't know you had, proved by going through tx.
Hang in there. It can be lonely, disorienting and disturbing over there on
the dark side of the moon, but you'll be coming back to earth before long.
I can only speak for myself here, but it was certainly worth the trip and
I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I was faced with the dragon once more.
If it gets too weird, talk to your doc about stronger or different
antidepressants. Post here; there are a few of us here who know what you're
going through. Focus on getting healthy. Don't sweat the small stuff. Take
care of you.

You didn't know but, along with being a poet, I'm an inveterate
SpaceCadet and I've stocked up on astronomy software as part of my
"therapy"...
