Hello all,
 Elmo continues to work and live in Missouri, USA.  I have talked with him
on the telephone a number of times.  He has no computer on-line at home, and
his work computer e-mail is routinely monitored by his boss.  He prefers to
remain off line and away from the group here, in his words something like "I
do not feel drawn to exchange information with the group enough to get set
up to participate by internet."  He has asked me to say to you all that he
is doing well and thinks of people and their struggles, dissappointments and
victories from time to time.
He is very active in his new hobby, acting as a volunteer stage hand at
local blues music clubs and festivals and has collected a large number of
photos of blues performers as he is very close to the action and can get
superb photos of them.
Elmo has lost a number of friends and associates to the Hep C virus over the
years.  He has finally been successful in his personal struggle to clear Hep
C.
For me to say any more about him would be irresponsible.  Know that he has
not abandoned the ill or those undergoing treatment, its just for the time
being that he has moved on, away from something that ran his life for so
many years.

I will let him know that many of you still think of him with fondness
