No shot tonight.
This means more to me than last week's milestone, the "last shot" (#48).
Strangely, I've felt depressed and anxious this week. I think it's
because I'm no longer actively fighting/treating the hep c; now I just
have to wait to find out if I won or lost.
It's like the rocket engines have cut out, the last booster has dropped
away, and now I'm either headed for a safe landing on Mars in 6 months -
or I'm not. <gulp>
-------------
I think I'll feel better (emotionally) tomorrow - I'm moving on to
another stage.
I've planned for months that when I get back my Saturday, I'll go to the
gym. I'm going to go tomorrow, but not try to do much (I have made a
promise on that, too). This time will just be to get back in the game.
I'm not expecting much, but it's symbolic.
Probably have to come back home, take an Advil, and lie down - but I'm
used to that! <g>

Feeling pretty good today about the situation - no weekend shot, and no
riba for a whole day. Whoopee!
It's kinda log being back at "1 of 48" (treatment weeks), only now I'm
at "0 of 26" (or 0 weeks plus 1 day) towards the hopeful result of SVR
at 6 months...
Whether I get that or not, it's now about being healthy - which the last
48 weeks was about too, but now it's not a survival challenge but an
building & improvement challenge.

Hey russian, so you did stop at 48! i belive you did the right thing,
and now is the time for "waiting", just let the days turn into weeks
and months and soon enough six will have gone bye.
After a couple of weeks you?ll be itching to get back to the gym, for
me it took about a month before i could do any physical work and now
11 weeks past tx i feel realy strong, did some hikiing on Island over
the weekend!! I would never beleved i would be able to do that a
couple of months ago.
Take care

It's still going to take a while to process all the poison out of your
body so don't be surprised if you have "riba-flashbacks" .
Concrats. and I wish you well. Oh - and - after what you've seen, you
will never ever be the same again.
Take care,
X

Hi I was just told I had HVC and 2 weeks later the Dr. told me my body
and my antibodys made a Vaccine that took out all the VIRUS that go
with HVC. My thought is why can't I find somebody that will use my
blood to help everybody that has HVC. My Dr. is in the VA system that
should answer why they will not help .. So if you know of any Dr. that
would help please sen him my way. I just want to help.
(drifter15@verizon.net) If you need to know more please e-mail me.

Settle down, Francis.
You're not the first person with acute HCV that cleared on his own. In fact,
estimates are that roughly 20% of people that are infected with HCV clear the
virus before it becomes a chronic infection.
So there are *plenty* of cases to study...
Cheers
