Wow... in week 44... got my monthly shipment on ice yesterday... same
delivery guy as always... gave him a 20 because this is my last!
Friday night starts week 45.
I'm very glad because the sides are worsening in a race with the end of
treatment.
- White blood cells now closer and closer to the danger zone, but doc
thinks I can last out the next 4 weeks without adding a med to deal with
that.
- Thyroid function still not compensated after trying 50mcg daily
Synthroid for a month, then 75mcg daily Syntrhoid for a month, so now
it's 100mcg daily.
- Full prescribed dosage of the Wellbutrin leads to intense 3-day
migraines with nausea, lowering the dose helps, but lowering the dose by
20% leads back to mild but noticeable depression (recalling the old
joke, Peg/Riba combo therapy won't kill you but at times you may wish it
did <g>).
- Vision took another small dip, but this one has pushed me into reading
glasses. I should have gotten my prescription adjusted way back in
treatment but I thought I could just deal.
Anyway, this is "how I spent my summer vacation" for 2007.
And now I'm started my trip around the diamond - it's a long hit -
rounding first base, not stopping...

You're doing great, Rman! The ball is still rattling around in the corner :-)
Don't go running out to get new prescription lenses because your eyes aren't
gonna stay where they are now. It's entirely likely the vision thing will
resolve itself within a few months of ending the treatment, leaving you with
pretty much whatever vision you'd have had sans tx.
Cheers - and remember, "It's all downhill from here!" ;-)

If I knew then what I know now, then 6 months ago it would have been
worth a temporary contact lens prescription adjustment (since you go
through those anyway). I wouldn't at this point, like you say.

As I go rollin', rollin' home....

Don't forget to slide when you get to home plate.
