Spacing out ribavirin?

It's my 4th week...having my first VL test done tomorrow (btw, I'm
really sorry for not having replied to any responses to my previous
post--some really helpful stuff in there).

I'm rushing, so I'll just get to the question that popped in my head
as I read some other post. Is there a specific way to take your
ribavirin? I don't mean always taking it with a fatty meal. I mean, in
your collective experience, what should be a minimum amount of hours
between AM and PM doses? I'm instructed to take 2 pills in the AM, and
3 in the PM...that's it. So far, I've noticed no effect on my sleep,
if I take it before bed. Sometimes I wake up almost at noon, and my PM
dose can be 7 hours later...is that too close? Should I try taking it
at the same time, every day? (btw, I've no problem with remembering to
dose--I write it down, just in case).

Well, thanks for any comments about this...or anything else. I
enormously appreciate the support I've gotten from this place, and I
keep my fingers crossed for the Tx to stay the way it is w/r/t side
effects.
Cheers,

I tried to keep them fairly evenly spoaced about 10 or 11 hours apart
which I managed at first.  After a while, my head was so f.cked that I
may well have had three doses some days.  I know I missed several
evening doses due to crashing out.  However, this was later on in the
tx so probably made less difference.

I think I did that Sunday night, actually.

Ribavirin titrates up in your bloodstream over many weeks - and it takes many
weeks for it to all get back out. So while it's a good habit to always take
your pills at the same time each day (that helps to avoid missed or doubled
doses) I wouldn't get all anal about getting the two daily doses exactly 12
hours apart, or worry too much about having them too close together - other
than to try to avoid having them all in my guts at the same time...

Cheers - and good luck on that EVR check...
