Greetings,
My 4 week post tx test shows undetectable. So far so good. My next test will
be in July. Wish me luck.

Man, the ups and downs here lately...
Good news, man. You're on third base just waiting to steal home.
Cheers - and good luck...

Puckertoe - How are you feeling? I am almost 4 weeks past treatment
too, and still feel nauseous and tired, but better day by day. It's
great to hear your good news!

Greetings Di Di
The first few weeks I still felt crapy and nauseous. Around the third week I
began to have days here and there where I felt pretty good, and then had
days where I felt pretty crappy. On a whole now I feel much better than
during treatment. Although I do feel tired now and then. But I can get to
the bus stop from the train station without feeling completely whiped out.
Good luck Di Di and let us know your results.

Good news PT! That's a big great target, you just need one more
confirmation now eh?
I had one 3 months after EOT, maybe it would help in your case too, what
do you think?
Good luck.
Cheers,
jeeb.

Hey jeeb,
That three month test might be a good idea. I just have to convince the NP
when I see her monday. The insurance companies frown on being tested so
much.

A possible tip for you depending how things work in the USA (I'm in
the UK).
If the insurance won't fund a three month post tx test and you're
anxious to get one maybe enquire at your local sexual health clinic? I
know that HCV isn't readily transmittable sexually. Here in the UK
you can get a full sexual health check by appointment and this
includes HCV. I don't know if this applies to all states in the USA
but an American friend of mine believes that sexual health checks are
also free in the USA.
It could be a backdoor way of checking for HCV before the 6 month post
tx test.
OK so the test will show antibodies anyway but it's the check for
active virus that interests you.
