bobby - 08 Feb 2007 15:55 GMT Hello all. Please allow me to re-introduce myself. I'm Bobby, but sometimes on advice from attourney I'm called ragman. I met Elmo and a central bunch of characters about 7 years ago in a webtv group. I use to create short 25 second music clips so that Elmo could bide some time with guitar riffs. It enabled him to paddle out of the swamp, hook up with David Allen Coe, and send FEMA into the swamps to rescue the lost and bewildered. I shorted out after the 3rd attempt on my life by the doc's and drug companys and came out of the riboferon attacks with Bi-polar disorder, disapearing thyroid syndrome, super sleepdisorder, restless leg syndrome (Ribo doesn't mix well with seratonim uptakes) high blood pressure, and some kinda eye disorder. But I can still play some mean guitar.
I'm steady now on an assortment of drugs for all of the above, Milk thistle dandalion root and acupuncure for pain and gastro boost. Cept for severe fatique, I'm quite well with liver functions almost norm, but Viral count still flucuates near 23 mil.. I'm posting again as I got good internet finally, I live in the mountains, and 3 deaths, one my best friend from hep c, and a very sick wife, Neurological lymes, has strapped me to the house. I'm playing small gigs, got out and went Ice skating last week, first time in 40 years, I cleared the pond in 2 days. I'm feeling very strongly like I want it to be 1970 again but I can't escape time. Oh yeah, I used to be a garbage truck driver just outside NYC, went back to school and was a substance abuse counselor. Worked in the prison here in VT for 11 years before the hep got me.
So "I am he as you are me as we are we and we are all together"....kook kook ka choo Bobby

I owe you alot getting me turned on to the geetar riffs and things. Probably saved my sanity along the way. Thanks, man!
How is your wife's tx going? I know it's got to be tough on her.

bobby - 11 Feb 2007 14:54 GMT > Hey Tom, thanks for asking about the lymes treatment, it seems just like > the path we went down, everybody jumps ship and I'm waitin for scotty to beam me up. 20 fucin months ago, after researching and getting tested for every neurological disease, M.S., Gherigs, Mike Foxes and Ali's diseases, one, thats it, one doc in vt, miles away was willing to treat her. However he was scared to go full tilt/ with the infusion untill he saw her repsponse to high doses of antibiotics using pills. She has not responded, and the disease has progressed so that now when I tell her she has a new symptom she doesn't believe me, though her foot can be in tremors with her lookin at it.. The fuckin doc believes any thing thats not "living" or slightly infected should be removed, in another words, all her teeth. She won't do that, neither will the dentists. Then, no hospital in VT will oversee the daily cleaning of the "PIC LINE", so its either out of pocket or die slowly and painfully. They want $120.00 a day for "in home care" for 18 months and the out patient won't treat Lymes as they don't believe in it, only early symptoms get attended to.
I just want to sit on the floor and have my dog come over and sit next to me, Ah but he died 6 months ago. My chiropractor is also keeping my wits adjusted, and I'm coping. Theres enough narcs in the house to keep me pleasantly numb for a good while, I haven't thought of touching them in 3 years, and any ways today is not a good day to die.
I'd have you send me that cat, but Pam is allergic. One thing I do know, is between my friends death and my wifes illness, the whole medical community, I've gotten off my a.s, started walking, painfully, about 2 and a half miles a day, and when its cold I have been skating..Getting in fighting shape.
As for the fog of yesteryear, you and Bri, Juanita, and Motorcyle/Jesus Christ Dave, saved my life. I'll never ever forget the days that you all were my only connection with society. WE ARE A TOUGH BUNCH..Willing to go where no man had gone before, a rocket ride fueled by unknown qaunities of interferon. An exploding blast into hell.....Then of course, ya gotta get up through it and deliver the soda!!

There is an outpatient chemo unit run by Dartmouth-Hitchcock Med Ctr in St Johnsbury, VT. It's located in the old Ames plaza north of the city. A nurse in our oncology unit works there part-time. PIC line maintenance is not a very tough procedure. If you are interested, let me know and I'll see if they can help. Thom

I don't know if she's got running water or not....I didn't see anyone rip her floor up and repair the pipes. You should consider getting a new dog. It was the best medicine for me after Heidi passed. I was at the Humane Society trying to sell them a new sign and told the Director that if I got another dog, it'd be a chocolate lab pup. She took me out back and showed me a 6 month old pup that they'd brought up from Mississippi (like an old time blues player) shortly after Katrina. The poor kid had pneumonia as well as kennel cough and was in his last day at the place. It cost me about $500 to get Buddy well, but was worth every penny. Having a playful pup forced me out of the funk losing Heidi put me in. You should try it. Oh yeah, the soda must go on. ahahahahahahaha I can't tell you how many times I got lost driving my usual route in the soda truck while doing the tx. It was stange......I'd start daydreaming and the next thing I'd know, I was lost again... Hope you find someone soon that can help Pam get past the Lyme. I don't know jack diddly about Lyme. Take care, bro. elmo the party never ends ///////// Hey Tom, thanks for asking about the lymes treatment, it seems just like the path we went down, everybody jumps ship and I'm waitin for scotty to beam me up. 20 fucin months ago, after researching and getting tested for every neurological disease, M.S., Gherigs, Mike Foxes and Ali's diseases, one, thats it, one doc in vt, miles away was willing to treat her. Does this mean that my Citalopram (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) is contra-indicated for my probably-near treatment for Hep C?
