Hello everyone
I am better now days. Still dealing with incompetent Endo's. But the big
mystery of why I am so ill is over. I have double the adrenaline which
is Norepinephrine of a normal person or even more. Now it is just
deciding which adrenal gland is the culprit. The one with the bump or
the one that looks ok. A few have had the one with the bump removed only
to find out it was the normal one on the other side.
I am now on drugs that inhibit the chemical composition path way of
norepinephrine so now I have half as much in my blood stream I have been
speeding for years and didnt know it.. After studding Endocrinology text
books in 6 week I figured it out what was gonna kill me off.
So between thyroid, and hormones aldosterone, and the norep I was in
line for a heart attack. I am still looking for a Dr. suitable for this
condition. There are only 300 of people like me in the US. No wonder
Dr.s were so lame and never found it.
I know I had this high Norepinephrine illness going on  before I did
interferon. What I am wondering Elmo If this high Norep had anything to
do with me being virus free in 30 days and my svr? Many of the
anti-depressants keep norep in the brain longer and Prozak boosts the
adrenal glands.   What do ya think.

I kinda think the endocrine system is totally distinct from the immune
system...

Juanita, i had  a bad time on prednizone once. i developed drug induced
psycosis.  didnt sleep for about two months. just layed still and tried
to blank my mind. understood steroid prednizone shut down my adrenal
glands. anyway, when i would get tappered down to 15 mg. i would go into
steroid withdrawal. it took 8 months to get off prednizone. hospitalized
several times. finally found this doc who put me back into the
horse-spital and gave me i.v. solumedral. another type of steroid.  Two
different trips and two months later i was off prednizone and no more
solumedral. Since then, i burst with energy and sleep about 1 to 3 hours
nightly. did ambien. doing xanax. get pissed to easily. i dont feel
tired but phuck the up and down 10 or more times a nite. Liver doc is
concerned this may cause mental probs when i start peg and co-peg in a
few weeks. adrenal insuffcincy sounds better than ver-active adrenal
glands. anyway, hope all goes well for ya. Randy in NC
