I searched the group for bri and did not find anyone posting here. Was this someone with cirrhosis? Was he/she not a candidate for transplant?

Was he/she not a candidate for transplant? ////////// Bri was a charter member of the webtv hep-c discussion group I started 7 years or so ago, as was Bobby, Juanita and Randy. It was a particularly 'tight' bunch of merry pranksters and we're all still loyal friends to this day. Bri was also known to post in sci med under the handles 'Swamprat' and 'connor'. He also posted here very occasionally. Yeah, he had cirrhosis but couldn't get on the transplant list. He never was able to overcome the demons that followed him all his adult life. I'm angry that he didn't take better care of himself. But, regardless, I love the guy and am going to miss him. He was a warm, caring guy that loved his family and friends. elmo

When my friend Marty moved along, we spread his ashes to Abanaki spirit chants all over the Misissaqoi river, flowing into the lake of Champlain. I have a vid of him, a year before he succumbed and he's steering his boat, waving to us in the back, kissing his partner, she's got a fishing rod in her hand, and I dubbed The Ballad of easy rider to it. Ended it with a sunset from his deck, on the lake with "Into the Mystic".
For Bri-Kid and Marty The river flows, flows to the sea Where ever that river flows, thats where I want to be Flow, River flow All he wanted was to be free Thats the way it turned out to be.

Bri's friend that died too was 'Michael'. Michael's wife was named 'Cindy'.
You'd see Bri with a fishing pole in his hands alot too. He had a special place he'd take his sleeping bag, his guitar, and his fishing pole and camp for a couple of days fishing for trout.
