Ok, I gotta bite the bullet here. What with my cirohsis getting worse,
spinal stenosis, sleep apnea, and Hemophilia I'm a walking bag O' pain.

I went through all the pain meds the Dr.'s were willing to give me...I
see a Neurologist tomorrow to see if maybe surgery is viable for me for
the stenosis.

But anyway, I need to find something to take the edge off and settle my
tummy.

I'm 52 now, and haven't done the "pot" thing for 25 years or so.
But I want to try making pot-eatables and see if that help.

What is a good recipe for extracting the THC from the bud? I know it
involves butter or oil..........

Does it stink of pot when you're making the butter?(Married with 3
older kids) My wife is in on this so I'm not doing this behind her
back.. :)

I let my younger brother know about this and within a week he dropped
of an ounce of pot.

So...........I have an ounce of pot(not willing to smoke it)and I want
to make some brownies...

I appreciate any help.

If you eat enough brussel sprouts you can flatulate your way out of a
stampede.  but I don't think you are likely to get off on them...

I heard tell of a person adding a 1/4 0z of highgrade pot, ground in a
coffee grinder, and just added to a mix of brownies, but they do stink when
they cook, and they stink when wrapped and in the freezer.  biscuits would
stink too, I think, so one is best off to eat them all right away and
ventilate the residence as soon as you can remember.  You could make a heck
of a pastie out of stuff I suppose, or a meat or veggie pie, perhaps.

Just throw it in, he said.

Sorry for your pain - this may help...pot needs to cook with fat of some
kind to bind with the thc ( or something like that, I don't know the exact
chemical process) so you do need butter or oil to cook it in.  I wouldn't
mix a leafy green with sweets- the tastes really clash. I cooked some
mainly leaves and twigs in olive oil to cover for a couple of hours,
strained it and pressed out all the oil I could. Then I put the oil in sour
cream with garlic salt and other herbs and spices- it made a very nice dip.
I tested the strength by adding measured amounts of oil to a tablespoon of
dip until I got the right ratio. Have patience and start with a very small
amount. Freeze the extra oil and tell your kids its mackerel teste extract
you need for your liver and they won't bother with it. You can also add it
to hummus and guacamole.  I would be very careful using it with sleep apnea,
though. You should ask your doctor or do some research on your own to
determine if it's safe. Good luck

Well, I've gotten it ground up to a flour like consistency. Probably
will try the heating up with butter process and used in a brownie or
cookie mix.

Made a tea with some of the residue in the grinder. Man, this seems
like much stronger stuff than we had years ago.
Not sure it helped much with pain, but I was giggling so much with my
wife I didn't notice anyway.
