My was quite elevated during most of my 11 months of tx. It took about 6
months to completely normalize after completing tx.

Hey PT, check THIS out. I Think you've been around this place long
enough to remember that when I was taking/ending TX I had mention that
it also made my Type II diabetes go away. Sort of mimicking the study
that came out around the same time, saying doctors had found out that
very thing.
Well, fast forward to yesterday. I got a big package in the mail, it was
a new blood glucose checker, and a supply of testing strips and lancets.
It was part of a deal getting free upgrades from Bayer when they came
out etc..
Anyway, I used it, and after having 2 LARGE fresh roasted turkey
sandwiches, with the whole dinner in it, even cranberry sauce. and then
a piece of cherry pie. 30 minutes later my BL was only 95, and 45
minutes later it was only 98.
Back when I had it, my BL would have been closer to 160. And I've
pretty much (unfortunately) gained back all the weight I lost while on
TX. So THAT shouldn't be the reason why.
cool huh!

Hi hey Puckertoe you are almost finished hooray! Amazing even! May I ask
what antidepressant you finally ended up taking? Do you plan to continue
it after tx? My blood sugar didn't change during my year of tx, but here
is a blog link to a fellow who has dealt with interferon plus blood sugar
problems. He a biopsies seven years apart, before and after tx, and
although he didn't clear the bug, he seems to have gotten a significant
liver repair out of the deal.
