#7 was Friday night, not much new to report.  I'm seeing some bruising
showing up on an injection site from weeks ago.  I get a little faint if
I stand up too fast occasionally.  I get some nausea in the AM an hour
after waking up and again in the late pm around bedtime.  Nothing too
bad.  Skin itching just when I want to go to sleep probably the biggest
thing this week.  Will be seeing the doctor on Dec 15th.

Russian, (dos vodanya?)
FWIW, I think you are right on course with the usual sides at this stage.
Please remember to carry a water bottle (full of course) with you when you
ramble around for things.  It is a good idea, and it is double good because
it helps with keeping your skin as healthy as can be under the
circumstances.  And don't forget to eat whenever you think of it.  I forget
if you covered this already, but hopefully there are others there to be sure
you are fed when you are able to eat.  I don't know if Gravol works to help
with appetite, maybe it does.  I used MJ.

You have already probably discovered what tastes right and is acceptable and
other stuff that is difficult to get down any time.   Tomato-based sauces,
and lots of carbs with some sugar is a good idea for (quick) energy, too.
Don't forget about the fat.  I am a meat eater and therefore from my old
Atkins days, nuked scrambled egg and pre-cooked bacon was OK by me, in small
quantities.  Then on with the necessary carbs feast found in toast and lots
of butter/oleo and peanut butter and bananas, and enriched smoothies with
blueberries and raspberries in them, if you have the devices.  Those berries
are high in fibre, moderate in dextrose.  The bananas are packed with carbs
and minerals that are required by all parts of your body, but mostly for
your muscles and such.  Fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches kept Elvis
alive all these years.  Maybe a miracle food?  :)

I used to have a chair at the intersection of the split run of stairs
between the basement and main floor of our house.  When I climbed them,
which was a lot, I would sit there at mid point and pant, drink some water,
and then continue on slowly.  I know anemia.

It's as they say, a rolling train wreck, but it will stop.

Keep atter man!

Mir!

Hate to break the news to you but Elvis died on August 16, 1977 at the
age of 42, not exactly "all these years", CJ. If he was alive today, he
would be 71. My personal opinion is that Col. Tom Parker killed him as
soon as he became his manager in the late 50's.

I do wish I still had those old 78's of his that I bought religiously
when they came out. If I did, I could retire today.

LOL Cody!
No, Elvis just had too much love to share.  He couldn't get it out fast
enough. ;-)

I bought two cases of bottled water - one is the backseat of the car (I
can reach around get one from the front), and the other is under my desk.

I try to keep drinking water, but also I have learned that there is a
specific "bad" physical feeling that can be resolved by water.

(Thanks for the rest of the tips too - this forum is really helping me
get through this more than anything)

Eat a ripe banana 10  to 20 minutes before taking your ribavirin.  Elmo
clued me in on this.  The fat in the banana absorbs and distributes the
ribavirin more evenly.  This helps mitigate some of the side effects.
Good luck!  KILL THE f.cking DRAGON!!!

I've always liked bananas and now I'm eating about two a day - one
before the morning riba like you said.  But I hadn't correlated that to
fewer side effects, although I have noticed sometimes there are more or
less.  I'll pay attention to that.
