I get some itching sometimes, often at night that makes it hard to fall
asleep. I was advised here to try benadryl, and it worked, but I *hate*
the feeling of benadryl both when I take it and the next day.
So I've been trying Children's Benadryl, which is like half a regular
benadryl, and it works and has no side effects for me.
Plus they're chewable, which is a nice break from the pill-popping.

Russian,
I use Benadryl itch stopping Gel,extra strength itch relief. It has a blue
cap on the bottle. My face itches really bad sometimes and I can't use
steroids on my face.So this turned out to be the only thing that helped. It
also helps anywhere else that you itch. The only drawback is that after it
dries it flakes off and it looks like my skin is peeling. It washes off with
plain water.Hopefully this will be of some help.

Never heard of it before - I'll look for it and see how it works in the
key itch spots. Thanks.

brilliant idea, I never thought of that! maybe it would help me
too, benedryl and most antihistimines tend to hype me up and make
my legs real twitchy. maybe I'm just taking too much, d'oh.
thanks for sharing

My wife has RLS (restless legs syndrome), the fancy name for what a
friend of mine calls "the jimmy legs". Benadryl brings on "the jimmy
legs" for her too.
