Conceivably, yes.

First, treatment can (will)  reduce the number of germ fighting white blood
cells (Neutrophils, specifically). And the mouth is one of the more popular
places for bugs to hang out. It might be a good practice to be on antibiotics
if significant work - significant including major cleaning, like root planing
- has to be done.

Second, treatment can (will) reduce the number of platelets in the blood. This
can significantly increase the extent and duration of bleeding from otherwise
minor wounds.

For those reasons, I would recommend getting any pending dental work done in
advance of initiating therapy. Otherwise, definitely don't want to aggravate
the situation by taking NSAIDs like aspirin or ibuprophen, if any dental work
has to be done while on tx.

Cheers

You may experience more bleeding due to lower platelet counts and it
will take longer for your gums to heal.  Filling a cavity shouldn't be
much problem.  It's always a good idea to have your teeth cleaned before
beginning tx.
