Google Groups archives this group back to its inception.

It shows you've been successful in obtaining on-topic replies to your
questions here. Sorry about the emails, but there are nitwits everywhere...

Hi Deb
Sorry that you were treated rudely here, please post your
questions again? I know that many of our members will take your
questions seriously and give you helpful answers.
As far as reading back posts, I'm not sure how webtv works
(ELMO??) but on my newsreader, I can go up to the menu and click
on "tools", and then on "get next 500 headers) to bring up more
old posts. It's awkward tho.
Better if you can access Google groups and join them, then join
this newsgroup thru them. It's a lot easier to find all the old
posts through google..
There are several other decent sites online you can go for
information about Hep C. If you email me, I'll send you some
links of a few websites I've found helpful.

You post on Usenet with your real email address? You must really love
spam, not to mention not being too Internet savvy or bright.
Your headers, which spambots will harvest your email address from are:

You should munge your email address and this can be done very easily

It was probably you, Ms Rude herself.

Webtv retains all posts made for 30 days up to a maximum of 1500 posts.
It's an excellent newsreader, shows every post made, including those
with attachments. And it's easy to use. If Deb knows the topic she
wants to look at old posts, then Googling the subject key words would
probably be helpful. On the other hand, if she keeps up with the posts
on a regular basis, she won't miss anything. :-)

I was wondering if there is a site where I can read older posts? Here I
can only see 400+ postings. I have posted a couple of questions before,
and got rude emails. So I thought if I could read the back posts maybe a
lot of my questions could be answered. A newbie here. Thanks Deb

When you are searching for Hep C info, by default, Google searches the
web.
From the Google web page you should enter your search text and then
select "more" then "groups"
This causes Google to search Usenet instead of the web.
