where are wombats?
Group: alt.support.hepatitis-c Date: Tue, Nov 28, 2006, 1:01am (CST+6)

Can someone tell me whether Wombats live only in Australia, or also on
other continents?
Apart from zoos, of course.
We all know that Wombats are to be found in Zoos.

Rather than point directly to the obvious, perhaps mr 63 would enjoy a
slight diversion to the many lands and habitats of the Mirkat! Yes,
wonderful beasts. They and similar simians. Perhaps many if not most mammals
all the world wide and through out the celestial heavens share the most
fundamental of social behaviours, that of clinging to each other, -if for no
other reason perhaps at times, but to mooch a ride from mama. They also
share Endorphin Rapture as they rely on reducing pack or colony infestation
during the endless time they spend de-bugging each others' bodies while they
rest in the shade of the Banyans. Endorphin rapture is a mechanism that
stimulates the the social organization of the pack or colony and reenforces
the feeling of contentment each time they pull a bug from the fur of the
friend/neighbour/cousin. The bugs don't seem to mind, either. last i
heard. endorphin rapture has yet to make it to the rather flat land of
Wikpedia, just in case you have a more cogent explanation that you can enter
for the term. be that entry.
