Greetings everyone,
40 down 8 to go.
Within the last few weeks my wife and I have noticed that my hair on is
getting thicker on my head once again. I was just wondering if anyone else
on tx had their hair thin and then return druing tx instead of after tx.
Thanks,

Yo Toe. Good to hear from you! I knew you were out there somewhere. Hang
on man, you're almost there. My hair started growing back about halfway
through tx. I took it to mean I was healing, in a way, from the tx
chemicals. So now I have scant original hair, wispy halfway hair, and
much of it is turning gray from the whole ordeal. Last week I went out and
got it chopped and dyed so it looks quite chic, I assure you ;-)

I was half-bald before starting the first round of tx. Can't say I noticed
any difference then or now (week 29 of 72).
Although quite a lot of body hair fell out. Most grew back after tx. So
far this time I've similar loss of body hair - mostly on my legs.
Lately, though, I have felt like there is hair growing on my eyeballs.
Can't really check it out, since the reflection
of the bathroom light off of the top of my head creates a glare in the
mirror ;o)

Don't know if mine got thicker during tx or not. It certainly got
raggedly thin after a couple-few months. But I kept mine cut short and
I was a short-termer anyway. It's growing back now, but seems to have
some strange kinks to it. Certainly, the glory days of long-haired
hippydom are gone and nothin' gonna bring 'em back... I'd be happy just
to stop looking like a brown-haired Dennis The Menace. -bg

And I suspect, even if you get hammered by tx, that 'Nam will always have been
worse...
Good luck, hang in there. And thank you for serving...
