From what I can see sci-med is dead. hmmmm, poet and I didn't know it. As they have killed themselves off all but a few who probably caused all of the problems to begin with have nowhere else to go to entertain themselves they come here. I have been following sci-med for 11 months now and now even though I have never posted there I feel like I am there. A bunch of self proclaimed intellects that have no compassion and a whole lot of anger. There actually is a newsgroup called alt.a.shole-factory. They need to check it out. Taunting you'd expect in kindergarten, but not from supposed grownups, misquoting, ripping quotes out of context, and plain lies - to what end? But I have to repeat the request: please do not debate them here. If you want to express your disgust with sci-med, do it in sci-med. Discussing those issues here, replying to the trolls here, even if it's just for a "f.ck you", satisfies their desparate craving for attention. Don't. Hoof your discussions usually follow some logic. but, i'm still having a hard time following you. i do agree the immature behaviors can be a sad spectacle. i'll offer myself as the poster child as an example. but it's sad, regardless of who or where they are exhibited. so... why would it be more appropriate to express my disgust in sci-med? let's take you and i for example. if you post something i find disgusting, why would i refute it in a group i don't participate in? just because you post in two groups, it makes no sense that i would issue a response to a group i don't normally participate in does it? can you explain why this is preferable? tia Dez > >From what I can see sci-med is dead. hmmmm, poet and I didn't know it. That's doing the work for them, and isn't going to change anything in the newsgroup being discussed.
