From what I can see sci-med is dead. hmmmm, poet and I didn't know it. As
they have killed themselves off all but a few who probably caused all of the
problems to begin with have nowhere else to go to entertain themselves they
come here. I have been following sci-med for 11 months now and now even
though I have never posted there I feel like I am there. A bunch of self
proclaimed intellects that have no compassion and a whole lot of anger.
There actually is a newsgroup called alt.a.shole-factory.  They need to
check it out. Reply all of the negative, stupid things you want to this. I
DON'T CARE.
Mom
P.S. Hoof. At least I have nothing to hide by posting my picture and maybe
my hair is an old style. I don't know and I don't care. Have the balls to
post your pic and I will decide. Will you have a horse's dick in your mouth
possibly?

It's a pretty sad spectacle, indeed. Taunting you'd expect in
kindergarten, but not from supposed grownups, misquoting, ripping quotes
out of context, and plain lies - to what end?

But I have to repeat the request: please do not debate them here. If you
want to express your disgust with sci-med, do it in sci-med. Discussing
those issues here, replying to the trolls here, even if it's just for a
"f.ck you", satisfies their desparate craving for attention. Don't.

Now, now, now thomas, anything which needs to be said or can be said can be said
right here in this NG.
You have your killfilters to help you through these troubled times.

your discussions usually follow some logic. but, i'm still having a hard
time following you.

i do agree the immature behaviors can be a sad spectacle. i'll offer myself
as the poster child as an example. but it's sad, regardless of who or where
they are exhibited.

so... why would it be more appropriate to express my disgust in sci-med?
let's take you and i for example. if you post something i find disgusting,
why would i refute it in a group i don't participate in? just because you
post in two groups, it makes no sense that i would issue a response to a
group i don't normally participate in does it?

can you explain why this is preferable?

Pretty simple: because we're having almost as much, if not more, posts
now complaining about trolls and infestation and smdh as we have troll
posts. That's doing the work for them, and isn't going to change
anything in the newsgroup being discussed. A discussion about smdh
should be in smdh, or you're actually inviting people from smdh to come
here and discuss their group with us. Do you want that?

i have hcv. i'm on tx. i come here looking for support if possible and to
offer some if i can. ash-c has many people that share most of those same
qualities. this is the only group i subscribe to and post in. but this isn't
my group any more than smdh (or any other usenet group i don't participate
in) isn't my group.

i've lurked in smdh a couple of times. i didn't see anything there that made
me want to stay and contribute, and i didn't see anything there that made me
feel it was diseased or that it's members were inferior to people who post
here.

that fact i don't see what you are worried indicates your concerns are
something that doesn't affect me. i'll just ignore it as i try to do with a
growing number of things going on here i don''t understand anymore. but as
the list continues to narrow, i am beginning to ask myself when will the
list get so large it all becomes irrelevant.

I agree, but I am not going anywhere and I hope you don't either.

Just *Block Sender*... It works great

Hoof, you've succeeded in embarrasing yourself beyond all expectations.
Don't they offer computer classes in your part of the world?

It was a hurry up job, but I am sure that Mom and you both got the message
without the perfect photoshop job.
That would be too time consuming.
Really Spidey, I wouldn't want this to get around the hepatitis support
group, you know how those things can spread like wildfire.
It would really be a shame if anyone got the idea that MOm was a horse
molester.
