You've been out of tranquilizers for a week, only sleeping a couple of
hours a night, working 8 hours a day, have called your BLCD's refill
line 5 different times, getting no refill and no phone call back from
them, the pharmacy is faxing them the request, still nothing, you can't
punch ANY more numbers and buttons into the f*ing cell phone, when you
call directly to the BLCD's office, and push the button to speak with
the receptionist, a little voice in your ear hears "connecting you to
extension such and such please hold" clicks off and nothing but
air...THREE times - and you finally have to DRIVE to the doctors office
to scream and cry, threaten to take a sledghammer to the phone, and
they tell you:
(are you ready?)
"Oh yes, new system upgrades - you no longer hear any music when you
are on hold"
Nice, like I'm supposed to KNOW that.
What is this like one of those stupid freakin emails that tell you to
"watch this and something funny will happen" then you scroll down and
it asks you how long you were stupid enough to sit there staring at the
damn thing.
Now I get it ;) PS - have my refill now
"Some days it doesn't pay to chew your way out of the leather straps"

90 all the time. I just found out I have a high norepinephrine level
its this secreting tumor in my adrenal gland. No wonder my nerves were
fried on tx. I been speeding for a long time on the norep. I had double

Hey, Juanita!! Good luck in San Fran, am sure you're happy that they
finally figured out what was wrong. Hope it's not too involved a
procedure and that you've got a short recovery. Keep me posted, would
ya?

Hi Elmo and everyone
The 9 Endos I saw were idiots, not one of them figured this out or even
came close. I was driven to reading a text book called Basic
Endocrinology, and a dr. over the internet that is a genius and teaching
at Wisconsin med school. This Dr. is retiring and moving to Lake Tahoe
this year. I couldn't have got more lucky on this Doc. :) Regarding
this book noticing that a past quack Endo I saw last year wrote the
chapter on Hypertension Endocrinology. He is a professor at UCD in Sac.
He said He didn't know anything about this adrenaline, aldosterone thing
I got going on. LOLLOLOLOLOLOL
I almost said then "why are you writing about this in this text books he
started reading my book as soon as he sat down. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
He wants me to go SF. At least he knew who the expert is on this as it
is his friend. So now I am waiting for them to call me.
In my query of a long road with Endocrinologists I have discovered other
Dr.s like my Internist hates the 2 Endos I am turning in. ha ha ha It
seems they treat their staff like their patients. The internist said "if
she could send her patients to me they would get well and there seem to
be no good Endos around.
Endocrinology is a narrow field doesn't require much but pushing a
pencil and showing up. Since there is so little to be learned in
Endocrinology compared to other positions in medicine. A large majority
of extremely lazy individuals become Endos". Well at least I wasn't
imagining what I thought of Endos after hearing all that. LOL from
another MD.
Out of 10 only 1 good one in another state figured out what was wrong
with me, without labs at first. hmmmmm
I guess stranger things have happened. LOL Whats it mean when there is
fat in the liver I got a little?. The surgery is for the experienced
only and will save that story for next time. LOL
Huggs too Juanita
