Hi Everyone,

Any other diabetics in here.  I just took my 9th shot and my glucose
readings have been coming down steadily since I began treatment.  I suspect
I'll go hypoglycemic any day now and I was wondering how much I should cut
back on the Insulin when I do.  I'm taking 22 units before breakfast and 22
before dinner.  I had my A1C checked a week ago and it was 4.8.   My 14 day
average for glucose is like 106.  Any advice would be appreciated.

Richard, you're not alone. I've been through two rounds of tx and I'm a
diabetic. I don't remember ever having problems with my glucose levels
while doing tx. My biggest problem came from not being able to eat the
right kind of food (had trouble finding anything that tasted good) and
the loss of exercising while on tx. I'm sure I had a few problems, but
just don't remember them at this time. Good luck with tx and I hope you
can keep you BG levels down without going too low. I'm presently doing a
steroid that has my glucose levels up extremely high without much luck
from my insulin.
